Formerly Coco Pazzo, this new incarnation of proprietor Manuel Ferrera, also of Le Gavroche restaurant is smart, inviting, and a great little neighborhood gem. The food is down right delicious, and if you drop by Sunday nights be sure to ask for the Paella, or if it's available ask for the Suckling Pig. Sardines are served boneless, fresh off the grill with a squeeze of lemon that invites you to experience the sunny shores of Portugal. Check out the wine list too, as Manuel is well known for his great selection. Better yet, ask him to pour a different wine for each course. You'll be glad you did!

Warm & inviting, this room is always buzzing with excitement. The service is friendly and smart, headed by the talented Restaurant Director & Sommelier Sebastian Le Goff. The Culinary talents of Executive Chef Andreas and Pastry Chef Thierry are second to none, as they orchestrate a seamless service of plus two hundred diners nightly. Tantalizing modern Italian - Mediterranean cuisine with sophisticated attention to detail. Thierry's petit fours and splendid desserts are a must. Make sure to reserve your table in advance!

One of Yaletown's newest watering holes, this place is hip and happening! Close your eyes and you might think you've arrived in London or New York. Fashion is also on display as designer jeans, and well made Italian loafers mingle and sometimes bump as this place gets packed. Fresh squeezed juices enhance a fantastic list of libations, as you saunter next to the bar, that is, if you can get a seat.
Michael Mina, San Francisco
Situated in the Westin St. Francis Hotel this is probably one of the hottest restaurants going right now. The second that you walk through the lobby of this grand old hotel and into Michael Mina's Signature Restaurant, you feel the level of elegance raise a notch or two. The restaurant is perched above the lobby entrance and boasts 20 foot ceilings. With understated tones of browns & robins egg blue window dressing, and all the trappings of a well healed fine dining establishment. The service is impeccable, and detail oriented without being over bearing.
The menu boasts Mina's signature dishes, offering up to six different dishes in each course. Intelligently presented in whimsical and intriguing combinations, it's a delight in every sense. Rajat Pan oversees the wine program that boasts over 2200 selections. The wine 'Bible' is double sided, whites & sparkling on one side, reds on the other. It's expensive by Vancouver standards but it's worth every last nibble & sip.
